Spread the word, get involved, take action – these are all great goals, but commonly we just ask “how?”

That is why we have provided you with the RSEF timeline and the how-to-letter in the “Materials” section to enable you to start your own ad hoc student group.

Talk to your school board and superintendent about budget cuts and referenda; they are the experts and there to help.

State legislators can provide information on state-based funding methods, the current capacity for education funding, and common issues that surround the budget, as well as some state-mandated requirements for districts.

And of course the RSEF students are here to help. Feel free to contact us for support, guidance, and more ways to get involved.

Just remember – first we must educate ourselves before we can educate others.
