- 1 st Tri-High School Conference includes all three high schools (Dec. 4th)
- Host a public forum against the proposed 5x3 schedule option in the high schools; option dismissed (Dec. 6th)
- 2nd Tri-High School Conference (Dec. 11th)
- Present proposal of student-approved budget cuts to school board (Dec. 14)
January 2005
- School district cuts $3.2 million from budget
- Lobby at the state capitol on "Rochester Day at the Capitol" through Youth Commission (Jan. 25)
February 2005
- Present at the Senate Education hearing at Kellogg Middle School (Feb. 10)
March 2005
- Interviews with Senator Kiscaden and Representatives Liebling and Welti to learn about education funding precedence at the capitol
April 2005
- Interview with Senator Senjem
- Creation of RSEF video, "Education and You," on district budget cuts and education funding methods, which was shown at Century H.S. and distributed at the state Student Government conference
May 2005
- Expansion to MSEF (Minnesota Students for Education Funding) after recruiting students from across the state
- Independent effort to lobby at the. State Capitol with MSEF (May 16)
June 2005
- Legislative follow-up to examine the funding increase granted by the state
July 2005
- Expansion of base to over 100 members through phoning and member interest identification
August 2005
- Restructuring of organization
January 2006
- Research into current education funding news and proposal
- Preliminary planning for local events

- Capitol Trip coordinating with Student School Board
